Description

Dolphin's Playground is situated approximately half way between the Beacon Isle and the Robberg Peninsula, just behind Beachyhead Drive. 

Dolphins Playground Beach Front B&B, in Plettenberg Bay offers the most desirable accommodation on the Garden Route. It is centrally situated on the Garden Route, enabling guests to do easy day trips to Knysna, Tsitsikama National Park, Wilderness, George and even Oudshoorn. Its proximity to Knysna, only 26kms away, makes day & night visits to Knysna very achievable. The accommodation is superior and opens on to a magnificent deck, which looks down on to the beach-front, a walk of only 50 meters. Wonderful whales & dolphins can be viewed from the beautiful deck. All the accommodation has en-suite bath-rooms making Dolphins Playground a wonderful holiday home to rent.

Plettenberg Bay is considered the "jewel" of the Garden Route, with its exquisite beaches and excellent climate. It lends itself to wonderful activities such as whale-watching, dolphins, cycling, hiking, tennis, golf, bird-watching, kayaking.

Breakfasts
 

Breakfast is a hearty affair which is enjoyed on the sun deck (whale watching and dolphin sightings can be enjoyed at the same time!)

Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, a choice of cereals, yoghurt, freshly filtered coffee or tea, and either:
* A full English breakfast: bacon, eggs, sausages , warm toast
or
* A Continental breakfast: cold meats, cheeses and croissants

   
  * For exclusivity at the B&B, only 3 bed-rooms may be occupied at once.

Directions

From Knysna: Plettenberg Bay is aproximately 26kms. from Knysna. On approaching Plettenberg Bay, there is a sign on the N2, which says, Piesang Valley road, turn right into it. Drive down a steep hill and the road twists and turns. At the bottom of the hill keep going straight, to traffic circle, turn right at the circle. There are some some shops on the left-handside. Opposite the Kwik Spar, turn right into Long Ships Drive. Turn left into second street, which is Roche Bonne. Go straight to a T-junction, turn right into Beachyhead Rd. Go along Beachyhead to the very end (travelling next to the sea), the road curves to the right and changes its name to Tillamook Ave., Dolphins Playground is second house on the right. From Port Elizabeth: Ignore the first 2 signs off the N2 to Plettenberg Bay, and continue along the N2, to a large traffic circle. Go straight at the circle. At the next turn-off, turn left into Piesang Valley road. Drive down a steep hill and the road twists and turns. At the bottom of the hill keep going straight, to traffic circle, turn right at the circle. There are some some shops on the left-hand side. Opposite the Kwik Spar, turn right into Long Ships Drive. Turn left into second street, which is Roche Bonne. Go straight to a T-junction, turn right into Beachyhead Rd.
